I chose this painting by Van Gogh to represent my life between the ages of 5 and 10. During this time of my life I felt like I was on top of thew world. I was happy and my life was great. I went to Codington Elementary school and i loved my teachers and the people that went there. My parents were loving and gave me pretty much whatever i wanted. Van Gogh had also been going through a happy time in his life when this photo was painted. He used small brush strokes and bright colors to show that this was a happy time in his life.

I chose this painting by Van Gogh to relate to my life between ages 11 and 14. I thought my life was great when I was younger but it just keeps getting better. I love my life. This painting was also during a happy time in Van Gogh's life. His use of small, frequent brush strokes shows that he is happy and content and has all the time in the world. The vivid colors also show that he was absorbing everything and paying close attention to detail.

I chose this painting by Picasso to represent my life from age 11-14 mainly because this painting is confusing and out of place. My life right now is happy yet confusing. I am trying to figure out where to go to college and what to do with the rest of my life. This is a huge decision that will affect my whole life. I can either have success and hapiness or failure and dissappointment, all depending on what I do now. I am trying to do good in school but I need to develop better study skills.
